Rumours suggest that our favourite anthology TV show, The White Lotus, will head to France for its fourth season. Officials have not confirmed the location, but France’s rich cultural history makes it a strong contender. Its bucolic scenery and flair for luxury also suit a show admired for interiors as much as drama. The show will likely premiere on the small screen in late 2026 or early 2027, so we won’t see the action for a while yet.
The White Lotus gained fame for sending star-studded casts to opulent Four Seasons resorts around the globe. The series began at Four Seasons Resort Oahu in Hawaii just a few years ago. It then jetted off for a European summer at The San Domenico Palace in Sicily, also a Four Seasons. For Season Three, creator Mike White stuck to his winning formula. He chose the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui as the backdrop.
If the coastal pattern continues, we bet on the French Riviera for Season Four. An idyllic alpine setting or cityscape would also be possible.
