4 fun DIY Christmas decorations you can make with the kids

Christmas baubles
What you’ll need
– ‘Jolly & Joy’ papier mache hanging bauble and star decorations
– Paintbrushes
– Paint
– Glue
– Glitter
To assemble
1. Paint all decorations and hang to dry.
2. Once dry, use glue to paint on dots and stripes, then sprinkle with glitter over the glued spots
3. Shake off excess glitter and hang to dry
Christmas canvas
What you will need
– 3x ‘Semco’ canvases to desired size
– Scalpel
– Coloured paper
– Glue
– Pencil
To assemble
1. Draw your design on the back of canvas – it will be mirrored on the front side.
2. Shade with pencil sections of design that are being cut out to eliminate any mistakes.
3. Use a scalpel to cut out your design.
4. Glue coloured paper to the back of canvas to create the coloured sections.
Hanna Christmas decorations
What you’ll need
– Hama beads
– Iron
– Baking paper
To assemble
1. Place beads onto board to create design.
2. Cover the design with baking paper and fuse beads together with a household iron.The ironing must be done by an adult.
3. Remove finished design from the reusable board.
