Markantonia is a florist with a difference. Pioneers in the dried floral revival, owners Mark Seeny and Antonia De Vere create bespoke dried floral work. It’s the result of their combined talents in furniture design (Mark) and floral design (Antonia).

Their dried sculptural arrangements range from large statement pieces hung from wires to smaller arrangements in vases. “They are extremely time-consuming, but the result is a treasured piece of art. These dried flowers have the potential to last for years if treated well and placed in the right conditions,” says Antonia.
They’re now also branching out into candles, homewares, art prints and a modern take on potpourri. Mark’s furniture design started with custom fit-outs in Auckland and has now expanded into working on ready-made homeware pieces.
