Summer may be over, but autumn homewares are serving the heat this year. Rain or shine, autumn is all about heading into hibernation mode. Okay, we may not be filling up our tums and heading into a months-long slumber, but we will be enjoying the inside of our four walls after months in the summer sun. We’ll be lighting a candle, making a pile of cushions, and cosying up with our new favourite throw as we rewatch The White Lotus.
This autumn, think colours of burgundy, olive green and off-whites. Materials will be there for comfort and convenience, velvets, wools and ceramics. Basically, anything that goes well with a one-pot dinner, a glass of merlot and a Netflix marathon. You may think it’s bed-rotting, but as long as our homes look good, we don’t mind.
