Grammy winner John Legend and his wife, model Chrissy Teigen, are bidding farewell to not one, but two adjoining New York properties. Located in lower Manhattan, the couple had originally planned on combining the units, but have just sold them for $26 million.

The apartments sit within Brewster Carriage House, a historic 150-year-old building, and together comprise of six bedrooms and six bathrooms spanning over 566 square metres on the fifth and sixth level of the block.

The modern pad features a stunning renovated open kitchen complete with Miele appliances, floor heating, numerous fireplaces, multiple skylights and custom white oak flooring. Other luxe highlights include an integrated sound system and a glass-front wine cellar, conveniently located underneath a staircase.

Residents can take in the sweeping city views atop the private outdoor terrace where John and Chrissy have hosted numerous rooftop parties together.

“We’ve realised that because of work and everything, we’re really mostly going to be in Los Angeles,” John recently told The Wall Street Journal. “So we’re going to focus our home-building energy and renovation energy on what we’re doing in LA.”
