Classic:
The monochrome look continues to be popular, and for good reason. Crisp white cupboards offset by black and stainless-steel appliances make a powerful statement, particularly in a contemporary setting. Selecting an on-trend grey marbled splashback and light-coloured flooring makes the room sing.
Modern Country:
Farmhouse kitchens have a timeless appeal and what better way to complement them than with wrought-iron furniture and fittings? Wooden tables and benchtops are instantly inviting and in this large kitchen they are offset with a white tiled wall and painted ceiling. The overall look is contemporary, with an industrial edge.
Colour:
Be bold with colour and pattern. Strong hues can be tricky but a textured surface will soften the effect.
