It doesn’t come as a big surprise that Tan France has an amazing closet. His role on Queer Eye is, after all, the fashion guru. But, if you think the handsome, wallpaper-lined attic wardrobe that runs the length of his Salt Lake City home (and of which his husband Rob France’s clothes take up barely a quarter of the space) is extra enough, you clearly haven’t heard about his plans for his basement wardrobe.

Currently under construction, Tan’s secondary-closet in the basement will be just as, if more, jaw-dropping than the first. “I’m determined to make [it] one of the most beautiful closets you’ll ever see,” he told Architectural Digest.

Among all his fabulous clothes, there will be a magnificent bed encased in a hanging closet, so he can “luxuriate and just enjoy the splendours” in the room.

The Fab Five’s resident food and wine expert, Antoni Porowski, lives in an apartment in New York City. His galley-style kitchen is lined with warm wooden cabinets and marble benchtops.

His favourite part of the kitchen is the large island, “because that’s where everyone congregates when they come to my house,” he told Delish. Along with jars of gummies and beautiful French copper pans, you’ll find in his cupboards an impressive collection of salts.

As the interior design expert, Bobby Berk has the biggest expectations to live up to. And his LA loft doesn’t disappoint. It’s filled with his signature look; sophisticated, masculine styling, plenty of indoor plants, modern-graphic prints and plenty of texture. Brass and gold accents come into play alongside rich navy blues.

Jonathan Van Ness’ Manhatten apartment has a “cabin in the city” vibe. He recently moved to give his four cats more room. Followers of his Instagram will be very familiar with his kitchen, where he performs his morning “coffee dance”.

And Karamo’s home? We’re still waiting for him to give us a sneak peek.
