How to create a jungle theme in your child’s bedroom using green textures

Perfect for you and your little one! This super stylish jungle-inspired interior proves that a themed bedroom can be both stylish and fun

How to create a jungle feel using green textures in your child’s room

Kids of all ages will love this fun green room, which is all about contrasting textures. Faux foliage tiles are tacked to the wall and add a lush feel to the room, as well as creating a fun feature. On the bed, a forest green linen duvet cover and pillowcase are teamed with a striped euro pillowcase and chunky knitted cushion and throw. Lots of textures create an inviting space to snuggle or play in.

This wooden house bed from Mocka is a good option for a first bed as it’s low to the floor and, with a good mattress, could see your child through for several years. This bed would also work well laden with cushions to create a sofa in a playroom. Throw some sheets over the frame and it could be a cubby house, too.

A simple wooden bedside cabinet is ideal for storing books and accessories and ties in with the wooden texture of the bed – using similar wood types helps a room to feel cohesive. Even this oval jute rug works in with the natural tones at play in the room.

Remember, if you are putting darker colours on the walls, lighten up the scheme with a paler colour on the floor so as not to make the space seem too small and dark.
