With summer just around the corner, we’re dreaming of warm evenings at Auckland’s Queens Rooftop, taking in the panoramic views of Waitematā Harbour while we enjoy fresh, flavourful dishes.

The new bar and wineshop have recently introduced their summer menu, capturing the best of the season. Curated by Chef Maia Atvars, the menu is packed with vibrant, locally sourced ingredients and dishes that strike a balance between light, refreshing bites and rich, indulgent treats.

How does a jumbo prawn and octopus salad with white balsamic, grilled baguette and saffron aioli sound? Or, if you’re after something with a little flair to kick off the night, how about a raw sashimi plate with Sicilian olives, fennel pollen, and tangelo dressing? They’ve also introduced new cocktails to the menu, such as the watermelon and jalapeno margarita – a refreshing yet surprising beverage to enjoy alongside Auckland’s skyline.
