Since opening last year, Queens Rooftop has quickly become a top destination for locals and visitors alike in Tāmaki Makaurau.
Enjoy one of the many fine wines or ice-cold Peroni on offer while looking out to the 270-degree view of the Waitematā Harbour. The food? You wouldn’t expect anything less than impeccable from the hospitality veterans who founded this establishment. Queen’s head chef Maia Atvars has updated the menu with two new skewers – seared monkfish with red pepper romesco and preserved lemon salad and chicken yakitori with charred shishito and condensed milk yoghurt. There’s a rotation of specials, too, including a whitebait sando with brown butter mayo.
The menu isn’t the only feature to have received a seasonal refresh. New drop-down banners have been installed outside to ensure guests can enjoy the view no matter the weather and to take the experience even further, a rotating lineup of live music will ensure the atmosphere is vibrant and lively.
