Project 1 – Measure and mask the area you wish to paint with painter’s tape. Apply at least two coats of copper acrylic paint, allowing it to dry between layers. Lightly score the paint at the tape edge with a craft knife to ensure tape comes off cleanly.

Project 2 – Mask off the area you wish to paint with painter’s tape. Paint desired area with ceramic paint. For a more rustic look, paint stripes with a brush. Before peeling off tape lightly score the paint at the tape edge so the tape comes off cleanly.

Project 3 – First lay a piece of plastic on your work surface to protect it from the paint. Select a cloth you wish to work with then, using a wine-bottle cork or circular stamp, evenly stamp copper-coloured fabric paint over the surface.

Project 4 – With a pencil, measure and draw a design on the candle. Mask off the areas you wish to paint and apply at least two coats of copper acrylic paint, allowing it to dry in between. Lightly score the paint at the tape edge with a craft knife so the tape comes off cleanly.
