This bouquet of white roses wrapped in yesterday’s paper makes for a simple statement of love that’s easy on the wallet
You will need
- An affordable bunch of roses or other flowers such as daisies or carnations
- A newspaper – opt for pages with print rather than pictures. You could also go the extra mile and dye the newsprint with tea.
- Twine
- Scissors
Instructions
Cut the stems of the roses on an angle and trim the leaves at least halfway up the stem. Fold the newspaper into a triangle with the point facing away from you. Place roses onto the left-hand side of the newspaper and roll carefully until the roses are wrapped in newsprint. Tie the base tightly with twine. Add a love note, and voila.
