Doily notebook
- First lay a piece of plastic on a work surface to protect it from spray glue.
- Lay paper doily flat and make small marks with a pencil at the centre of the doily to ensure it lines up with the spine of the notebook.
- Spray the doily with glue, then align the centre with the spine and stick down.
- Trim or fold in any remaining parts of the doily.

Pretty envelopes
- Ensure the doily is slightly bigger than the envelope.
- Trace around the shape of the envelope onto the doily then trim slightly smaller than the envelope.
- Glue the bottom side of doily and carefully insert into envelope.

A doily vase
- Wrap paper doilies neatly round an existing vase or box.
- Fold excess paper underneath and secure with double-sided tape or glue.

Stencil wrapping paper
- Lay plain kraft paper flat on a workspace and place a paper doily on top, securing with removable tape.
- Using the doily as a stencil, lightly dab paint through the holes with a thick paint brush. Alternatively, use spray paint lightly from a distance.
