Australian model and entrepreneur Miranda Kerr has listed her ocean-views Malibu home with price hopes of $4.5 million (NZ$7.25m). Miranda has owned the four-structure compound overlooking the Pacific Ocean for 10 years, when she paid $2.15 million for the 0.73-acre property fresh from her divorce from actor Orlando Bloom.

The Victoria’s Secret model has since married billionaire Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel, with whom she shares an international portfolio of estates. The couple have used the Malibu home as a local getaway, but are now unloading the relatively petite estate. They also own a $30 million villa in Paris, a Hunter Valley estate in her native Australia and a $120 million mega-estate in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles that’s nearing completion after years of construction.

The six-bedroom and 5.5-bathroom, 345 square metre home was built in 1960 and has been given custom upgrades by Miranda over the years. Miranda Kerr enlisted Nan Meltzer Design to re-imagine the original kitchen, bathrooms and primary suite. The single-storey, open plan and all-white house has wide wooden floorboards, a raised hearth stone fireplace, vaulted ceilings and a wall of windows in the main living area that looks to the trees and ocean views. The estate has gated access, lush landscaping, a pond and a waterfall.

The main bedroom includes deck access and a bathtub just a few steps from the bed. Kerr reportedly added this because she’d always wanted “a bathroom in the bedroom”.

The Malibu home has been the skincare maven and self-described clean freak’s weekender for years, she told My Domaine. “When I first visited the house, I fell in love with it instantly,” Kerr says. “I loved the bones, the high ceilings, and the light that comes through the big windows.” The windows provide nearly floor-to-ceiling views of the Pacific Ocean, peeking out from behind the treetops on the private property.

Two bedrooms share a spacious hall bathroom with wood floors, a high vaulted and sky-lit ceiling and a tiled vanity. The master bedroom offers several Palladian-style windows with whitewater views, access to a deck with ocean views and a renovated bathroom.

While living there, Miranda appointed her Malibu house with beds, sofas, tables and chairs from her Love.Joy.Bliss collection. She spent nearly two years designing the furniture, which features materials ranging from lacquer to leather, brass, glass, woodgrain and mother of pearl.
