The practice took out the title of the 1998 Home of the Year award with their Bay of Islands retreat home. Two-time Home of the Year winner Pete Bossley agreed when it was suggested to him that this holiday house would be one of the most significant buildings of his career. “It received a lot of support and recognition,” he says. “From the planning stages, we thought it would be a good one and might play an important role.”
