It’s no surprise Instagram’s new California office is an aesthetically pleasing, highly grammable work space
In early October, photo sharing app Instagram revealed their new office in Menlo Park, California. This newly refurbished building celebrates the app’s sixth anniversary and marks its move from parent company Facebook’s headquarters.
Ian Young from architecture firm Gensler was tasked with translating the company’s young, bright and seriously stylish brand into real life. According to an Instagram rep, the office was designed to be a “3D version of the app”.
Among the office’s key features are digital displays of users’ pics, fully equipped mini-kitchens on every floor, an in-house cafe, a special design room and an inspiration library. There’s even life-size Instagram-themed backdrops for visitors to snap visual souvenirs!
