As average Auckland house prices reach dizzying levels and traffic gridlock paralyses central arterial routes, more people are casting the net wider in the search for their homes. Those working in Manukau City can expect a more relaxing commute to work, often in lesser time, from places once considered rural.
Pukekohe, Papakura, Pokeno and King’s Seat in Franklin and Te Kauwhata, Huntly and Ngatea on the edge of the Waikato are now becoming satellite suburbs servicing both Manukau City and Hamilton.
