Environmentally conscious entrepreneur Graham Hill set out to fit 92 square metres of functionality into his New York apartment, measuring only 39 square metres
Digitally-savvy Graham Hill turned this design challenge into a competition which he hosted on a crowd-sourcing website. The response was amazing, with over 300 entries submitted from all over the world.
Two Romanian architecture students, Catalin Sandu and Adrian Iancu, were the winners. Their elegant design comfortably accommodates all the regular household amenities plus space to host a dinner party for 12, a home office, a spare bedroom that sleeps two – even a home theatre with a digital projector!
The project was such a success that Graham launched LifeEdited which builds similar projects across the US.
