Gypsy Caravan offers North African, Greek, Turkish and Moroccan fare.

The indoor dining area is festooned with hanging lanterns and trailing greenery above the floral Axminster carpet, purchased from Trade Me and cut up into large rugs. Bead curtains hanging from the exposed ceiling beams set the scene for romance and mystery.

The table above is adorned with a runner made by their good friend Raewyn Bayer and the plates are by Studio Ceramics.

Annelise and Ryan did the fit-out themselves, with lots of help from friends and family.

Benches softened with cushions made by Raewyn Bayer, with ‘Herbie the Bar’ (painted by James Nicholls of Art by Tuss)in the background.
