Another beautiful natural area of Efate that shouldn’t go unseen. This gorgeous lagoon and park area is the perfect place to go for a swim and picnic. You’ll find lots of locals here, swinging off the rope swings into the lagoon – why not jump in with them?!

The Mele Cascade falls are a great example of the amazing natural sights to visit in Vanuatu. It’s a fun experience for the whole family, a short walk up to the falls where you can swim in the pools leading up to the waterfall or jump in below it. It’s a beautiful spot to just relax and take in the lush surroundings.

Entertain the kids all day…

Hideaway Island

It’s easy to spend the whole day with the family at Hideaway Island. It’s a 20 minute drive from Port Vila to the dock where the watertaxi leaves for Hideaway. Before you jump on the taxi, be sure to take a look at the locally made sarongs and jewellery at the markets. The watertaxi is just a couple of minutes (you can even walk over at low tide), once you get to the island get yourselves sorted with some snorkelling gear or paddleboards and jump in the warm water. You can even post a postcard to friends or family at the underwater post office! The lunch menu is sure to keep everyone happy on what will be an active day out.
