How to make a FIMO keyring

Try this on-trend and easy to make DIY project, this marble keyring is a fun and simple way to create a special gift for a friend

What you’ll need: > FIMO Soft Modelling Clay 56g $6.49 (in two different colours) available at Warehouse Stationery > Book ring 38mm $2.59 available at Warehouse Stationery > Cookie cutter in a heart shape > Rolling pin > Skewer

Step 1: Take the two colours of FIMO and roll into long straps, twist together and loop in half.

Step 2: Once looped in half, roll the rolling pin over the FIMO until it’s 0.5cm thick and has enough area to cut out of.

Step 3: Use your cookie cutter to cut out a heart shape from the FIMO, then use your skewer to create a circular hole in one corner. Then place FIMO heart on aluminium foil or a glass plate and let it harden in the oven for a maximum of 30 minutes at a temperature of 110°C/230°F. FIMO will only be completely hardened when cooled down to room temperature.

Step 4: Loop the book ring through the hole and attach to keys. Done!
