It’s been around for decades, but this shaggy retro carpet is making its way into all sorts of homeware
It’s covered the floors of many a Kiwi home since it was introduced here in the 1960s, but then it fell out of favour – until now! The fluffy comfort of shag is back and not just as a carpet – as the design darlings of this year’s The Block NZ, Niki and Tiff, demonstrated with their peach shaggy rug. We love this retro revival in all its forms – long may its reign continue, we say.
