Athfield Architects

Founded in 1968, Athfield Architects have been creating thoughtful and quality designs ever since. Comprised of a tight-knit group of architectural, interior, urban and landscape designers. Over the last half-century, the practice has been pioneers in sustainable architecture and accumulated a strikingly wide portfolio from urban masterpieces to private housing.

With their involvement in highly-anticipated projects such as Victoria University’s Campus Hub and Library, they haven’t lost their skill at producing stunning smaller-scale projects. Their recent design of this Takapuna beachfront property is reflective of this, and Athfield Architects worked to minimise the home’s scale from the beachfront while working in an unapologetically contemporary idiom with some stunning results.
