Founded in 1996 by the practice’s namesake Belinda George, they have a primary focus on residential projects as well as small-scale commercial briefs. Acting as a client partner rather than a project manager is what they believe produces highly poetic results, and they are committed to a fully collaborative design processes.
A significant recent project for the architect; the design and build of her and husband David White’s rural home has been awarded the tile of New Zealand’s best retreat. The shed inspired house adheres to George’s “love of that New Zealand vernacular” and the collection of structures is a testament to her exceptional architectural abilities.
